Free Audio Book- Adopted For Life by Russell Moore

Who likes free?  I do!  If you head on over to Christian Books.com you can sign up to receive a free audio book every month.  A few of the selections that I have obtained for free have been C.K. Chesterton books, John Piper books, Jerry Bridges books, and this month a book by Russell Moore, Adopted For Life.  If you have not had a chance to read this book, I highly recommend it!  It will be a life changing book and change the way you think about adoption.  This book is for EVERYONE!  It is about adoption and the theology of adoption in Christ for the believer.  It is a book that is hard to put down and will leave you walking away rejoicing over your adoption in Christ and ready to do something for the field of orphans all over this world.  Then when you are done, I encourage you to head on over to Reece's Rainbow website and pray and advocate for these dear children who are created in the image of God and who need someone to be their voice and their parents.

Hey Debbie,
I tried to comment on your most recent post, but blogger wouldn't let me!
I am so glad you are back to blogging. I have missed you. I am enjoying the story of you and your husband.

Believe it or not, our local family owned department store had sleds! I am sure they ordered them after the big snowstorm in early January.....we have had predictions of unusual amounts of snow this winter. Anyway, Jimmy saw an add in the paper about the sleds and they still had some!

I am going to try Celee's bagels too. Maybe tomorrow.

Are you still exercising? I am training for a marathon! It is April 9th.

I also love Sonlight. We are in week 19.....we did start in August, but have taken off one day a week most weeks. I hope to finish in early June!

Have a great day!

Your local department store knew what the customers would want and they did well to get some sleds!

I am still trying to figure out how to get my bagels to rise better. I think that I will be trying The Fresh Loaf recommendation that I linked to my blog post about bagels next and then blog about my trials.

No, I am not exercising anymore. I sprained my ankle back in June and fell off the wagon. Then we moved cross-country in September and I just have not gotten back into it. I could give many excuses, but ultimately I know that you do what you really want to do- so truly I have no excuse.

Sonlight- We are also somewhere around week 17. We started late due to the move and have taken some time off here and there. Are you still planning on teaching 3 cores next year? We are teaching 2 cores right now (core 1 and core 3) and I do believe that we will just continue on this course. It is a lot of work, but we all seem to like it.

I also saw that you are interested in sewing recently. I hurt my neck and back yesterday, so the kids and I were watching some movies and we watched Homestead Blessings dvd on sewing. If you do not own this video or these series, I highly recommend them. Plus, we have also found a helpful book on teaching basic sewing. If you ever want to e-mail me, I would be happy to visit with you debbiespeedy@gmail.com

It feels nice to be back to blogging.
